Description

I paint with the concept of "visible and invisible things. I hope that the act of "looking" at a picture will evoke memories in the viewer, and through the act of imagination, I hope to catch a glimpse of something that is different from what is visible, and that transforms into something that was not visible. The 10 cm square and 3.7 cm thick can be placed on desks, bay windows, and various other places.

Concept

Miho Nishikawa creates artworks based on the concept of “visible things and invisible things”. The feelings and thoughts of others cannot be seen by others.

In order to draw a border that is visible and invisible, she layered the colors on flat-base to create layers on the surface. By doing so, it is able to create a deep feeling of the simple and clean artworks. Please feel something hidden at the bottom of the picture.

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
